Fake Magazine
Tuesday, 28 December 2021 18:10What if we made a fake magazine? It would be in PDF and maybe other formats. We would let people download it for free. (We want to sell them, but we don't have a bank account yet because our mom wants us to go to a physical bank.) It would be a literary magazine of sorts sharing our stories because we can't decide which ones to publish.
One problem: we want to register the works to the Copyright Office in case of infringement because the office needs to check for copyrightability before an investigation can be done. It costs money to register digitally, and we don't have a bank account yet. Pirating is inevitable. It's not like we're making money.
ANYWAY, the stories in it can be Carnival and Werewolf War. Maybe we can share a text version of Where were You? (It's a 9/11 backstory comic. Researching is hard!) F.M. can share poems. But it'd be a bunch of self inserts.
But if we're not making money or planning to get to famous, we could share our Mike Shinoda fanfics. We would just have to share the submission date. Ooh, maybe we can fix up that song fic!
