Word sucks!

"How dare you say that about Word!"

I can't do anything on the desktop app anymore because Microsoft decided to make people pay for it. The free online version won't let me hyphenate words at line breaks (which sucks because Google Docs doesn't have that option.) Doing so prevents the odd spaces when text is justified.

Right now, I'm going to try Apache OpenOffice. So far, so good. OpenOffice uses .odt for its files, and Google Docs lets me download documents as those. I hope it has a hyphenation option.

Okay, I don't know how to navigate this. I don't like this. I'm going to try LibreOffice next. I don't like LibreOffice, either. It messed up my pages for Carnival. Now, I will try FreeOffice. This search is getting really annoying.

TextMaker from FreeOffice lets me save documents as .docx! That means the pages to Carnival won't be messed up! I hope.

YES, YES! THE PAGES AREN'T MESSED UP! And it has hyphenation! TextMaker is perfect!

Also, what's with these word processors and displaying two pages at a time?

Update: the hyphenation didn't translate to Docs. Also, the justified text still had rivers.
