Being the most recent headmate, SL has never seen the memorial name reading that happens every September 11th since the attacks. We couldn't watch the rest of it last year because CBS decided to have a special edition of CBS Sunday Mornings about Queen Elizabeth II instead. (I was a little upset, but I don't blame them. Her death was the end of an epoch.) None of the other channels aired the reading that day, either.

This year, I checked to make sure CBS was airing this time. It starts 6:30AM Mountain Daylight Time. Our TV guide doesn't show it (being in Colorado), so I can't record the name reading in its entirety. Just for fun, I looked up C-SPAN's TV schedule. C-SPAN 2 is airing the name reading tomorrow starting at 6:45AM Mountain Daylight Time. The guide said Public Affairs Events, but that's long enough to let me record the entire thing.

Now, I can also watch the with my little brother when he gets back from school. He likes hearing the bell ring. I just appreciate its importance. That's why I want SL to watch.
