An Album (F.M.)

Brian thought it would be really funny to listen to a band called The Children of the Plague. (We were on a Spotify equivalent to a Wiki Walk.) The only album on the page is called Sad Sickness: Songs to Kill Yourself To. The album art has a girl in a white dress splattered with blood. And I had to listen to every song.
I wasn't sure what I was expecting. The phrase "DEAD DOVE. DO NOT EAT." comes to mind. (And so does "edge-lord.") I don't know how to explain it. Every song left me thinking, "what the fuck did I just listen to?" The only one I liked was "Music To Drown To." "Despair on the Radio" came in second.
I felt a little sick. Even worse, The Children of the Plague was the last thing we listened to before closing Spotify.
I'm not sure if that was shock rock or horror punk because I never listened to those genres before. (The closest thing Reanna has listened to is Fatal Thirteen, which we describe as nu metal/horrorcore.)
